The Space:
Located in Indented Head on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula, this small residential community is a popular resort town in summer, with a jetty & boat ramp at the headland, a stunning foreshore & reserves. Nestled back from The Esplanade in a non-thoroughfare court, this peaceful setting offers views across Half Moon Bay from the covered upper balcony & living room.

Daily walks along the foreshore track & lapping shoreline will have you reconnecting with nature from the moment you arrive in this stunning locale. Discover stunning wetlands teeming with birdlife & the beautiful sandy beaches of Indented Head & St Leonards. This home is defined by its relaxed coastal setting & décor, with comfortable furniture & lounge suites that allow guests to chill out & watch TV, or flow easily outdoors to the upper or lower decks via sliding glass doors.

Set up to accommodate friends, families & couples for holidays by the sea, alfresco living is catered for with outdoor furniture on the large timber deck, or enjoy sunset drinks from the balcony.

The welcoming entry leads to a well-equipped kitchen with beautiful cabinetry & an island bench with breakfast bar & stools. Quality stainless steel appliances will delight any chef for holiday meal preparation, plus a 6-seater dining table.

Living spaces upstairs & downstairs feature split system air-conditioners, carpeted floors, comfortable lounges & TV’s, ideal for parents & teenagers to enjoy their own space respectively.

The spacious Master bedroom with King size bed occupies a commanding 2nd storey position, with walk-in-robes, ceiling fan & a generous en-suite. This quality is replicated in the main bathroom, complete with a relaxing bath tub, shower & vanity, plus separate toilet.

The next Queen bedroom has a balcony; being so close to the beach, you will smell the fresh scent of salty air & feel the ocean breeze.

A third bedroom offers a Double bed, while the fourth bedroom has two Single beds with trundle beds underneath (these beds are for kids only).

Sleeping up to 6 adult guests & 4 children (in 4 bedrooms), this home is immaculately presented, with easy living across two living rooms, dining, 2 bathrooms, & private outdoor entertaining areas. Indented Heads beautiful home

Due to Covid and isolation, instead of 7 people staying at the property it ended up just being myself. So I’m assuming the cleaning staff didn’t have much to do. A few things that would deter me from booking this place again: There are no bbq facilities. For a home this size, and for a holiday destination many families can’t eat out every night or eat take away so a bbq would be the obvious choice. I had assumed it was included but was quite surprised that it wasn’t an option when I got to the home. Also, the heat upstairs in particular the main bedroom is unbearable. There needs to be a split system included in the main bedroom and that way if both units are working it can somehow cool the upper floor. Also, the home is advertised with wifi and i chose it because I needed to work on a few mornings but unfortunately I couldn’t do that successfully. The wifi reception is quite bad, and this needs to be included in the description of the property. I struggled to make any calls out of the house, and wifi only worked efficiently at times if I sat in the downstairs bedroom where the modem is. I have since understood that Indented Heads is quite terrible with reception. Having said that the spaces in the house and the living area are great. Also the washer and dryer next to the kitchen is excellent. Many families would benefit from this house but at a minimum a bbq needs to be installed. I have stayed in a number of houses in port Arlington, Sorrento and Portsea and they all have all left a few complimentary items upon arrival. Bottles of water, small travel packs of condiments, sunscreen and a few basic items in the fridge as a welcome gift. This house didn’t have anything. Amyway, I definitely enjoyed my stay and the house was comfortable but I thought I would pass on some recommendations as food for thought. Thank you.
