"It’s ok but not great. The only thing we really liked about this place was its location. That’s basically the only thing you’re paying for. The hotel itself is really shabby. Amenities are not the best (no bidet, communal microwave only, no PJs). The whole place has seen better days. There were wallpapers peeling off everywhere and the whole place smells funny. "This was the second MONday apartment hotel we have stayed at. The first one was the MONday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi which really set the benchmark. This one in Osaka is also good and spacious by Japan standards but the family room in Tokyo Ueno was much bigger than the 2 double/queen that we had in Osaka. We used the in-suite laundry washer/dryer several times - it’s super convenient. Room could use more clothes hangers for drying. Hotel is located several blocks away from an M subway...

"Great location within walking distance to DOTONBORI and other shopping districts. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond. We had some trouble with our luggage and they were able to deliver directly to our room without us asking! Don’t be afraid to email them to ask any questions as they respond really fast. "Small room but ok. Couldn't open the windows at first because there was a sign to note open the window. Air quality was therefore terrible. When we asked to change room they said it was not possible but that there was a stick that they could lend us in order to open and close the window (quite a workout to close the window).
