"The location is perfect with the golf course right next door and sitting up on the hill overlooking the harbor. The restaurant serves wonderful meals, one of the best lobster bisque we’ve ever had. The wrap around porch is awesome with heaters. In saying all this, the inn needs some TLC. Our room had paint chipping on the walls and all around the shower. The shower head was awful. "Bed was super comfortable. Continentel breakfast left a lot to desire. Also is bath soap an endangered species in Maine? Overall on a scale of 1-10 I would rate a 6, not terrible but needs some polishing!!!"

"What a beautiful hotel. The bed was very comfortable. Just to note, there are lots of stairs in this historic hotel. It is close to the hospital and lots of restaurants and shopping. I will definitely stay here again!"
