"My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. "We really lucked out with this. Brillianr place. Only hiccup was trying to find it as sat nav misdirected us. In the end Bonnie drove out to find us which was really kind. Would recommend looking for the sign for Pack Rat Pat’s which is on the same turn off. Really good facilities, comfy beds, great shower, nice big kitchen (dishwasher, air fryer, big stove and fridge freezer, coffee maker), veranda with BBQ and views of the cows. Nice friendly dogs that come to greet you as you arrive. "

"Amazing little Gem near Gig Harbor! We had a wonderful stay! The first night we arrived very late. It was pouring down rain and dark outside. We were able to find the place very easily and once in it was very cozy. There is a little door that opens up to the forest and was really peaceful listening to the rain all night. "This property is absolutely amazing. The view of Lake Cushman, the quiet, the lake access. All of it is top tier. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). That being said, this property has literally anything you need. We took advantage of the toaster oven, gas oven & range, the blackstone grill, washer/dryer, literally all of it. "We had a wonderful stay on the LYLA. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the wine fridge and french press for our coffee in the morning. The welcome bottle of wine and snacks were greatly appreciated and such a nice touch. We would love to go back and explore more of the area as there seemed to be much to do within walking distance."

"If I could give it more stars, I would. This lovely cottage is clean and comfortable and offers everything you need to enjoy a waterfront experience. The views are spectacular and we saw all kinds of wildlife right from the deck. An eagle, otters, seals, dolphins, herons and more. Amazing. We hope to return someday."
