"Such a delightful stay! So cosy with the fire on, well stocked with firewood, had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook all our meals. No wifi which was so nice to unplug. Nice and private to have our own space out of sight of the rest of the property. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away :)"

"The pod were warm and cosy. 2 mins walk to the beach was ideal for the dog. A fire under the stars each night was amazing. It's a lovely place to stay."

"Our experience in this home was outstanding! The place was clean, minimal, and tidy.Instructions about location and entry was easy.The coffee machine was excellent and easy to use, the spa was hot and ready to go, the pool was clean and we could have gone for a swim but it was too cold.We were a group that had plenty of room to spread out - we enjoyed meals at the huge dining room table, and crafts at the other end. Loved the view from the upstairs lounge area. "

"Lovely quiet house with gorgeous views. Local cafes were delicious and the area has such a lovely vibe. Hosts had added little touches in the house to make it very comfortable, a lot of thought had gone into making guests comfortable."

"The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!"

"From the moment Jan met us and made us welcome we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is immaculate, romantic with fabulous views over the sea to the horizon. On our first day we could see the top of the South Island, Te Wai Pounamu and the Kaikouras.....heavenly. Jan and Doug had supplied essentials such as coffee and tea plus breakfast cereals and the pièce de rèsistance Doug's chutney. Thank you."

"We had a great stay with everything we needed and more. Lots of touches that made it feel like home and comfy beds! Great fully fenced area for our wee dog and super easy communication with Dave and Annalese."

"This place was amazing! We had been quite busy travelling around and seeing the sights of NZ and really needed a little time to recharge and relax and this was the perfect place to do it! Such a pretty cottage with everything we needed. Loved sitting outside listening to the birds and enjoying the seclusion. Great place and the host was so helpful and considerate. "Plenty of room for all the family. Loved the location right on the beach front with own access. We had vews of the sea and sunset. Everything was there except portacot and highchair would of been handy.Liked that it was all day sun and warm with the heating for some chilly nights. Would definitely go again. Nice touches to the place, outside shower was warm and canoes in the garage. Thanks for letting us stay."
