"Wow what a beautiful location. We were there right at the peak of fall leaf colors. Would have loved to take a kayak out with my fish rods but the water was cold and we had some rough waters that week. Would love to go back and enjoy this area in the summer.The place was clean and comfortable.So much to do and see in the area so we were only there to sleep at night. "

"Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! I will definitely return for a girl's trip with my sisters!! (Cabin 17)"

"This unit was in the perfect location. Everything you could possibly need under a 10 min walk. I was impressed with how thoughtfully decorated it was. Felt like home. The host was amazing, unfortunately I overslept bc I was up late with a migraine the night before. The cleaner woke me I felt terrible. I hurried to get packed up and they were very understanding and patient with me. So grateful to have found her accomodations. I will definitely book with Jennifer when ever I can while I'm visiting...
