My recent stay at the Mövenpick Waterpark Resort & Spa Soma Bay was a huge disappointment and a complete waste of money. I was drawn in by the hotel's reputation, but the reality is that the entire experience is undermined by poor management and incredibly bad customer service ' The bad experience continued with the food. For a 5-star hotel, the quality and variety were shocking and repetitive, often tasting poor. When we tried to reserve a table at one of the dinner restaurants, they were always fully booked, making the all-inclusive promise feel misleading'The worst part of our stay was the dreadful customer service. Staff members, particularly at the reception, were unhelpful and seemed completely disinterested in resolving guest issues. The management was nowhere to be found, and when complaints were made, they were dismissed without a real solution. It’s clear that management is not interested in addressing the very real problems at this resort.
For anyone considering a stay here, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. The high price tag is not justified by the quality of the service, the food, or the dated facilities. Save your money and your peace of mind—you will be disappointed.
