"This cute little cabin is aboit an hour from Anchorage. It was perfect for the husband and I. Quiet and just what we needed while we stayed here. We arrived late on a Wednesday and I had a little trouble finding it, but despite the late arrival, the owner was available to help. We would stay here again! "

"This is a great little spot very quiet very clean. I would highly recommend staying here if you have to spend a few days in the Wasilla area."

"From the moment we booked the host was available and answered questions. The home is clean, beautiful and you can not beat the amazing view. Our family really enjoyed our time. There is a three bear grocery store, burger resturant and coffee shed, very close by. Hatchers Pass was a close as well. We have nothing but fond memories of our time shared at the Chalet, so grateful!"

"Cottage fit the 2 of us perfectly, plenty of room in the kitchen to cook. Couch was comfortable and adjustable to fit different needs. 2 moose came right by it our first night there! We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!"

"We had an incredible stay at the Roaming Iris for our elopement in Alaska. Everything was as described, if not better. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything you could need. The location was perfect-close to Wasilla and Palmer with great restaurants, cafes, and activities. The host was extremely responsive and thoughtful. It’s clear that they truly care about their guests’ experience. We could absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone...

"Place was perfect for 2 people. Appreciate the color safe shampoo and conditioner. Could have more kettles and an ice cream scooper. Bed was comfy. Had trouble with the app as we were traveling to cabin and I kept emailing the host to text me the entry code and she did not respond so I called VRBO to get information. The guy there told me the code and he called the host to tell her to text me instead because I couldn't receive emails. The host then emailed me again. Never text me at all. Good...

"The property was excellent and sat directly on the lake. The owner was so kind, sweet, thoughtful and professional. I had a fantastic time and plan on renting again in the future. This was a wonderful visit!"

"Great stay, comfortable cabin… The cabin looked exactly like the pictures did. Temperature was easy to regulate ceiling fan was nice, coffee paper towels plenty of towels cups plates hot plate everything we needed for a very comfortable three days day."
