"Was given a handicap room on the first floor that I did not request. When I entered the room, I was completely overwhelmed by the musty smell. It was completely overpowering every time you entered the room. Obviously the room has not been kept well cleaned. I won’t be coming back. Also, the air-conditioning did not work very well."

"Nice location right on the water. Had restaurant over looking the water, food nothing to brag about but ok. Reasons for a 3 rating, the beds were short like camper beds. I'm 5'10" and unless my head was next to the headboard my feet were hanging off the end of the bed. Had little square pillows. Went to shower in the morning and bathroom floor was wet, had water dripping from ceiling. A/C unit was very loud when it kicked in, not normal , they switched us to a new room because of the water leak...

"My stay at the Artist Colony Inn was truly wonderful. The rooms felt so reminiscent of another time and were filled with charm, warmth, and history. From the wood floors to the lighting to the beautiful four poster bed, every detail made the experience feel special and unforgettable. "Jim & Jill are wonderful hosts! From being greeted upon arrival to the moment we left, it was a great Bed & Breakfast experience! They are so welcoming, fun, & kind! We will definitely be back!!! Everything was great!"

"The room did not get cool enough to sleep comfortable. The staff did give me a fan to use to help, but I would have rather not had to bug them about it at 3:00 am. The Continental breakfast was average. No meats. The maintenance on the room was of poor workmanship. The painting around the trim was quite unsightly. Overall, I will probably pick a more updated hotel in the future."

"Our tv kept stopping,there was no coffee pot,and our electricity went off the last day we were there and we got ready in the dark showers in the dark. Room was clean but staff was not on site no bodyvto check us in or out."

"The rooms were very nice and clean. Check in was easy and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely welcoming. The bartender was awesome. The complimentary breakfast was terrible. There were no cups for coffee, no milk or juice in the containers, the bread was too big for the toaster...it was like everything we wanted was not available. Not a good experience at breakfast."
