"Room was nice and clean, and we were notified early that it was ready. Was nice to have a room to sleep in that is not your normal hotel cookie cutter set up. Had a gas fired firepit out front of our room. Nice comfortable bed. This place was a couple minutes' walk to the Nashville House restaurant. You are located close to all the Nashville shops also. Would recommend The Iris Garden Cottages for anyone wanting a change in sleeping arrangements. We stayed in the couple's cottage after seeing...

"I can’t believe I’ve never stayed here before after coming to Bloomington regularly for 30 years! I picked it because I thought it would be great for a dog, (and it is!), but we got so much more comfort than expected! This is a gem of a find. Just hope it’s hidden enough to be vacant the next time I need a place in Bloomington. "

Upon walking in, we were greeted with hair all over the toilet and in the bathtub and shower, as well as when pulling down the bed when the owner asked me if the beds were at least made, there was also hair in the bed.
