"Nice property. The layout of the room was a little awkward in that there was a large empty space that probably could've used some sort of seating area, and also the bathroom door and room door opened into each other and the bathroom door has a hinge that defaulted to closing the door, which served to trap moisture in the bathroom. "A good base to get around Hollywood. Metro trains and buses on your doorstep and Ioved that Mel's drive through diner was across the road which is a great place to eat. Hotel staff were very helpful and very approachable throughout our stay"

"Great staff. They remembered everyone by name. Helpful with luggage. Remember to request 1st floor if disabled. There are stairs from parking lot and all floors. There is a small elevator on the outside entrance to get you up and down those stairs to the lobby and the rest of the resort. Free snacks, ice cream, non alcolholic drinks, 24 hot heated pool, popcicle hotline and breakfast were wonderful amenities. "

"Overall it was a good stay and I enjoyed the hotel. Pros: Good location- I felt like I was able to get to every place I needed easily, whether it was around the city or getting on the highway and driving further outside of LA Friendly Staff- Every staff member I interacted with was pleasant. "The room was very nice, bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy. My bathroom has the old school twist to open window. The radio in the room and one light didn't work. "We had a great experience at Kasa Sunset. The apartment was very clean and spacious, with a comfortable double bed, a bathroom with a bath, and a fully equipped kitchen. We also appreciated the communal laundry room available for use by the customers for free. "Parking was a bit difficult and cost $18 per night. The hotel is clearly converted from older days, with a funky small elevator. The hallway was charmingly decorated with old movie star framed portraits and there were beautiful stain glass windows and chandeliers downstairs. The coffee and sweets shop next door was a necessity because there is NO coffee or tea served at the hotel or in the rooms. We had to get dressed and go next door in the morning.
