"This was my second time visiting Dalsøren and introducing it to my partner — seeing it through his eyes was so lovely! We also did a lot more in the area (my first trip was a hard reset where I didn't leave once and just took it all in). Getting around to Mt Horeb, Spring Green, and seeing a play at American Players Theatre just made the visit that more magical. HIGHLY recommend! "

"Traveling from Indiana to Wisconsin, touring different Cheese Factories and Stores. This house is ideal for families as it is out away from everything yet easy access to towns of Monroe, New Glarus, plus Monticello itself is a cute small town. Ideal for Kids, as the lot is private and HUGE, with outdoor play equipment, fire pit, picnic table ect, Just Wonderful!"

"Fished the Madison chain while we stayed here. 20 minutes to the ramp. Plenty of places to eat in neighborhood easy gas stops on easy to ramp. Plenty of room to move around in house for the four of us. Driveway and street parking were available for two bass boats and trucks. Electric hook up was great for charging batteries."

"There aren’t many options in this small town but we wanted a kitchen. The town is charming so location was great. The down side is that it is dark, opens onto an alley and has no window in the bedroom or bath"

"What an amazing step back in time!! The history of this area and the buildings is really interesting and beautiful. Everything is so clean and well cared for. Wish we could have stayed longer but on our way north. Thanks for sharing this piece of our country’s history with us. "

"The property and house are breathtaking. We particularly loved the Tea House. Gorgeous, clean and the host was wonderful and responsive. A great place to stay!"

"Perfect size and location for visiting friends and family. The view of the valley is delightful. The unit is attached to the main house but has its own entrance. Clean and comfortable, the room was a bit like a private hotel room in the country. It's a short drive to Verona, Mt. Horeb or to Madison. I brought my dog, who loved the large yard and visiting the nearby dog park. "

"Fantastic peaceful getaway. Gorgeous views, spacious property, comfy beds, and so many games to play! Everyone loved it including the dog. The host was helpful and left us beautiful welcome flowers, a card, and farm fresh eggs that were so delicious. We hope to come back soon!"

"We had an incredible stay. The house was beautiful and close to Madison. Scott was a communicative host that made check in and check out simple. The house was large enough for a big group and had a ton to do between ping pong and foosball"

"It was a beautiful, cozy space. Check in was a breeze and everything from towels and linens to coffee were already prepared. The owners are pleasant and provide snacks and refreshments for us upon arrival and were in contact with us about updates and made themselves available in case we had questions. I would definitely book again!"

"A great place to stay for access to the driftless area of Wisconsin. Stayed here and fished a lot of the local streams for trout. The place was very clean, and felt like home. Recommend trying the Hi Point steakhouse if you’re in the area. Great food and cocktails. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets also a big plus."
