"The Quiet Cottage, also known as Stolhammer Hus, is the perfect base to explore the Mesabi Bike Trail and the Range. The house is very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great screened in porch, as well as a deck that has you sitting in the woods. The host is great, very accessible and helpful with local recommendations. I would highly recommend the Quiet Cottage in the Woods!"

"The apartment was clean and met our needs for the trip. We appreciated the ability to bring our mountain bikes in. There were improvements being made to the exterior of the building even while we were there. We appreciated the water and soda in the refrigerator and enjoyed the Keurig coffeemaker. Thanks for a great stay!"

"What a lovely little apartment! Very unassuming outside, but tons of mid century modern charm inside! We loved the blue glass collection and the original bathroom fixtures. If you arrive after dark, walk carefully in the parking lot, it's a bit uneven. "

"Very quaint, cozy place. Had everything we needed to unplug and unwind. There wasn't a swimming beach for us, but the dog had a marvelous time splashing around. The hot tub was an added bonus & felt wonderful! "

"If I could give more stars I would! This is a total experience. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. They are so happy to share their piece of paradise with others. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Birders, this is located in the bog with great birds waiting right outside your door! Walk down to the bridge and watch herons and beavers near the Whiteface River."

"Words can’t describe how wonderful our stay was at the Lake House. On a scale of one to 10 this stay ranks in at 10. Roxie’s place is amazing, simply amazing. Roxie made us feel like we were at home when we arrived and received the keys. Roxie continually took care of us by answering questions that we had about the property and things we could do.
