As part of the Oaks Resort and Spa complex you have full access to the beautifully appointed pool area which features two large pools and sun loungers. The complex also features secure underground parking and a fully equipped gym.
And the view will blow you away.
The apartment is a self check-in property. The keys are retrieved via a lock-box close to the Oaks Resort. Though you have access to all on-site facilities such as pool and gym, the resort reception provides no support for the apartment in terms of check-in, room service etc.

If you have a car then there is secure underground parking (height restriction is 2.2m) as well as free on street parking. Hervey Bay locals must communicate with us prior to booking and prior to arrival at the property.
Occupancy limits- there cannot be anymore than 4 people on the property at any time. The violation of this clause will lead to the removal of guests without refund.
Guests will respect and follow all guidelines of the Oaks Resort at all times. Failure to do this will lead to the removal of guests without refund.
This is a self check-in property. You must agree that you are willing and able to follow (and have read) the check in instructions that are listed in the check in guide on Air BnB. You will agree that you will not contact us before reading the check in instructions.
There is no smoking allowed in the apartment or on the balcony. (These are the rules of the resort) There will be a $200 per day charge if guests are found to have smoked inside the apartment or on the balcony.
Guests must return beach towels to the apartment. If beach towels are missing there will be a $30 per towel fee. Note. We are not part of the letting pool so towels can not be left there.
There are no pets in the apartment. If guests are found to have had pets in the apartment there is a $100 per day charge.
If guests lose their card key there is a $40 charge for each card key lost.
Card keys are to be left on the table in the apartment at check out. (Ignore any signs inside or outside the apartment which state to leave keys with reception desk) if keys are left with reception and we are unable to retrieve them a $40 fee per key will be charged.
Check out is at 10am. There will be a $40 fee for every 30 minutes you check out later than this time.
If any of your actions lead to us having to refund or discount the next guest following your stay you will be liable to pay for this.
You agree that you are booking in good faith with your host and you agree not to damage our business if you are unhappy with any ruling by Air BnB or the host in the event that you experience anything dissatisfying or you lose a resolution with Air BnB.
Guests will be responsible for the costs of any breakages or additional cleaning fees due their actions.
Guests must leave the apartment in a clean and tidy state upon check out.

Stunning View, but.......
I don't normally write negative reviews, so this has taken me a bit to work out what I am going to say. I'm going to start with the positives, the view is stunning.The host was very informative and explained all the rules, etc, prior to arrival. On arriving we noticed the TV in the lounge room was very small and only picked up 4 channels (ABC, SBS kind of channels) - not good when the Boxing Day Match is on!! The TV had been removed from the bedroom and placed into the lounge room, so it was extremely small and not adequate for a lounge room - I got in touch with the owner who advised that the previous tenant must have played with the programming. The TV is actually old technology and did not get the digital channels. There had also been previous reviews mentioning the inadequate television situation from earlier in the month, but nothing was done about it. The owner advised that he was hoping to get the TV replaced once we were out - not really helpful, especially when we were there for a week. The photos of the apartment show that there was 2 televisions, obviously the lounge room one no longer worked so instead of replacing it, they decided to just put the bedroom one in there. The cleanliness of the place was adequate, it really needs a good clean - there was mold on the fridge seals, the laundry fan was extremely dusty, mold in the shower and surrounds, Shower roof paint was peeling. The bed cover had stains on it.

TV did not work for days and only app 4 channels available when it did very poor picture and small screen.
No shower caddy.
Fan above washing machine was in severe need of cleaning.

Lovely property, could not fault. Just remember to park your car in the non-gated area on your last night as you are required to leave your key cards on the table in the apartment on the morning of your departure (but then you need to use a key card to get out of the gated parking area).
