"Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost."

"Just returned from an excellent stay at the Beaches Guesthouse and would definitely return. Warm welcome and friendly service from Jo and Buzz throughout our stay. Room 10 was spacious, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and featured a good sized ensuite. The room could be improved by replacing the blind such that it blocks out all light in the mornings. "What a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb...

"Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked. Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...

"A fantastic stay. Rooms just perfect. Lovely touch with the coffee machine and the fridge in the pantry with fresh milk and additional bottled water. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!"
