"Me and my Nephew stayed here for a long weekend. It is a great location for exploring the area. We went as far as St. Ignase for a day trip. The cottage was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed as far as towels, kitchen items, toiletries. I was surprised to see a smoker there for use, we did use the grill. The furniture is comfortable. Over all I would definitely come back. "

"Wonderful place to stay! Great location to explore Lake Huron, Roger’s City and Alpena. The home was exactly as described with all the amenities needed for a relaxing weekend. Very clean and well cared for. The host was welcoming and easy to communicate with. EV charging on the property was a plus! Definitely recommend and would book again! "

"We were landing the fish, the first 2 days we were there. The weather was up and down for us. Still had a fantastic time. Went and checked out the cracks in the earth, that was a site to see. Overall was an amazing trip. We will look to book again in the future."

"From the moment we arrived, the cabin was welcoming - clean, organized, all the items we needed for cooking and serving, feel at home decor. A great set up outside, as well. The location is a nice short drive into Alpena and the surrounding area. A beautiful view across the lake, including a wonderful view of the sunrise. And nicely quiet. We highly recommend this rental. Great communication with the host (quick responses and wanted to make sure our stay went well). We will be talking about this...

"Excellent location. Walkable to everything. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Much more than we expected. Main floor has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Basement has 4th bedroom and bath, pool table and gathering space. kitchen stocked with new pots, pans, dishes and silverware. "

"This is our second stay at the cabin. It was just as wonderful this time. It's in a lovely wooded spot and has all the amenities you need. The cabin is both very clean and very comfortable. Robert is kind, accomdating, and responsive. We look forward to staying here whenever we visit family!"

"Our family gathered at this clean, roomy, well supplied home for a few days of peaceful time away from stressful lives. Grandchildren loved the paddleboat and dock. Adults loved that location was so close to bigger fishing lakes in area. We had a wonderful time! Loved this place!"
