"The room wa clean and comfortable. The staff are brilliant. There were a couple of 'issues' when we arrived. TWe couldn't get the bedside lights to work and the radiator was very noisy and not heating. We mentioned this to the staff and both issues were sorted straight away (the fuse switch on the wall had been turned off, hence the lights not working and th radiator had an airlock and needed to be bled).There is some noise from the bar below but this ends when the bar closes at 10.30 and then...

"Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Note - free toiletries are available at the bar, not in the room. The only things I didnt like were the stag head looming over our breakfast area and the...

"We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. "

"The staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble, we requested a quieter room due to it being a Saturday night and was put on the 2nd floor. The restaurant food was lovely, this is such a lovely place to stay in Shrewsbury very central would definitely stay here again in the summer "
