The roof top restaurant was nice and food was excellent. The building had charm and character. It had been beautifully restored and the furniture was in keeping with its heritage. "Many things in the room were broken: AC, hairdryer, water temperature. The pool also had issues so that we couldn’t use it. The staff the the reception was very nice but the rest of the staff didn’t understand English properly. The location was very central but the last few meters to the hotel had dark corners. The hotel staff can also bring you and pick you up for this part. "

But fully charged for the stay even though I couldn’t make it. Would really expect more from a hotel of this calibre."

"This was a beautiful place to stay in the Old City, perfect for the City Palace and Lake Pichola. The staff were really helpful, the breakfast was good and the accommodation was everything that was promised. Taxis are not allowed into the Old City so there is a short walk once dropped off which I was aware of from other reviews."

"View from the room was best i could ever get. Room was clean. Staff was friendly, gone beyond to fulfill the needs of the guests. Hotel is on a great great location.
