Towns close by include Pateley Bridge which is a short drive away giving you quick access to shops, café’s, restaurants and pubs. The cathedral city of Ripon is 12 miles away and, further afield, the stylish spa town of Harrogate a 30-minute drive. Nearby National Trust attractions include the magnificent Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal near Ripon and Brimham Rocks in Summerbridge.

Guests having own transport is essential, although there are walks from the doorstep the nearest shops for provisions are a little over 3 miles away and there is no public transport available at the moment.
