"If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois."

"When we arrived my wife ran over to the tree line by the pond and counted 27 kinds of birds in 10 minutes with her app (Merlin). In the evening we got a bullfrog serenade, and at night the hot tub overlooked a sea of fireflies floating like stars in the meadow. The location is close by Garden of the Gods, High Knob, Rim Rock, and about 30-40 mins from Jackson Falls, Bell Smith, and a winery.
