"This house/host is a nightmare. I showed up with my family after 12+ hours in a van to an empty house. The host would not respond so I had to find hotel accommodations at the last minute for 9 people on a holiday weekend and foot the bill. Then the neighbor comes by and says the place is a mold infested scam hole and that this host has properties all over town that should be condemned. Obviously a lot of planning went into furnishing this home away from home for patients at either the walking distance VA hospital, or Scott & White, which is 5 minutes away. Neighbor Billy helped with the trash and recycling and answered any questions we had. It's easy to get to anywhere in Temple from this home. It was very quiet and peaceful. "We stayed at Jenk Farm for a fishing tournament, and it was perfect! First of all, the house was beautiful, especially inside. They also have a barn where you can park your boat and charge your batteries overnight. It is 10 minutes from most ramps on Stillhouse Hollow, and 10-20 from the ramps on Lake Belton. I would 100% stay here again!"
