"Everything was great except the lock on the front door was extremely difficult. On the second and third days we decided to leave the door unlocked, fearing if we were able to get it locked we would probably be locked out when we returned. When we left for good on the fourth day we were unable to lock the door so left the properly unlocked."

"This is an awesome place to stay for location to everything great about Yosemite! There is a fun hike to Foresta Falls right outside your door. The cabin was very well equiped for those that wish to eat in and cook. The only reason Icannot give the location a 5 star rating is the queen bed being very very saggy. For some this may not be a big deal but for this price range the bed should be better."

"The actual place is great. Beds comfortable, kitchen good, fun pool table. 5 stars. You need to understand the location. If you are booking in the height of summer, ignore this paragraph! The unit is inside the park and at a high elevation. If there is ANY snow, it is a challenge to get to. Chains are very often required (and necessary). "We had a wonderful time at the Copper Bear Lodge! The house is amazing. It was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. They had a wonderful gift basket awaiting us too! We loved hanging on the porch and got to see a momma bear and her two cubs in the backyard. The house is centrally located which helped so much with driving inside the park. There’s so much to see and do in Yosemite but we also just loved coming back to the house and playing cards and relaxing. Loved every...

"We liked being located in a scenic and quiet location far away from the large crowds surrounding Yosemite Village. However, it does take 20 minutes driving time from the cabin to get to Yosemite Village and some major attractions of the park. "We visited Yosemite for 4 days and this cabin was the perfect home base. The property is in a great central location with essentially equal driving distances to all of the park highlights including the valley, Glacier Point, and the Mariposa area. "The retreat was very nice spacious and very well equipped for our stay. It took us about 1 1/4 to get to Yosemite valley and 1hour to Mariposa grove. The house was a little more remotely located than we expected. However we did enjoy the town of Mariposa 15 min away. Nice dining options and a good grocery. "
