Places to shop and eat very close by, walking distance. Would most definitely stay again. We met Bobbi at her shop, she was pleasant,friendly and funny. "We celebrated our 25th anniversary here and couldn’t have chosen a better place.This property is quiet, private and crazy clean. The hosts, while living right next door, were welcoming and informative, yet not bothersome in the least. In fact, we hardly heard them. The layout of the two places provide a great deal if privacy and sense of security.The view toward the ocean is fantastic!We really enjoyed ourselves here and strongly recommend these hosts and the space they offer."

"Loved the home away from home. You could choose to walk to the beach but we ended up driving to have our ice chest and beach gear. Plenty of items were provided to help our family have an excellent stay. We had breakfast and dinners with the full kitchen. Even used the propane grill that was provided with the grill tools. Used the laundry to help with the beach clothes and towels Will stay again!"

"Magical. From the lighted patio, to the sights and sounds of the river, to the cozy charm of the cabin, it was beyond wonderful. As soon as my husband and I drove up on our first night, we knew we wanted to extend our stay, and we were able to! It’s the perfect place to unplug and reconnect with yourself. The redwoods provided some amazing trails and spectacular views. We will be back! "

"This house is so cute & cozy! It was one of those properties where you feel like you're staying at a friend's or family member's home; comfortable.....not stuffy or stressful with too many fragile knickknacks & strict rules! We loved the back porch for dinner and the hanging swings for reading & coffee. The place is well stocked so you don't have to run out for every little thing. My daughters loved the provided cookies & q-tips, haha! Very comfy beds with soft sheets. "

"Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River. Even my barely mobile 84 year-old mother-in-law could get down to the beach to watch us kayak and swim. My only tiny complaint is that the knives in the kitchen were almost too dull to use,...

"House was just as described, with an outstanding view of the ocean. Loved watching the sun and moon set. Great space, with easy checkin. "

"Bigfoot Bungalow was perfect!! Great location in a safe neighborhood. Very clean, charming and spacious. Enjoyed coffee on the back porch in the morning, very private. Great location for Redwoods. Redwood visitor center in Cresent City looks very rundown (boarded up window) but worth stopping for Redwood map and advice from great park employees. Would stay again so worth it!!"
