"We had such a great stay at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Lancaster while we were in town for a cheer competition. We booked knowing there was construction going on, but it honestly didn’t impact our stay at all. "Great! Close location to sight and sound. Indoor pool was a huge plus in April. Kids loved the room and the breakfast in the morning 7-10am. The pool was warm also but they def need more chairs and loungers. The fitness center seemed like it would do the trick in a pinch. I didn’t see anyone use it but the equipment is well maintained. "

"Take the problems that the Cartoon Network had and slap a fresh coat of paint on it. That’s exactly what DW did with the motel. We stayed for three days over the Easter weekend. Writing this on our last night here. The rooms were renovated with new flooring, wallpaper and paint. What remained was the same problems with the plumbing and other problems. When we entered the room the tub drained so slow you where you’re standing in water as you showered. The pull for the “new” shower divert did not...

"A delightful, off the beaten path accommodation! Absolute must for train lovers. We arrived just before the last train of the day passed by, and felt it down to our toes. Dinner at Casey Jones (a real vintage dining car) was delicious. Our caboose "room" was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. "
