"The Steamboat is one of the very best places to stay in Lancaster County. This was my 2nd trip to the Steamboat and it was just as great as my last time a couple of years ago. So great that we extended our stay for an additional night. Employees go above and beyond and everything is clean and well maintained. Would return again and again. "

"No ammeneties, rooms were nice, Rooms were not very quiet as I could hear the people in the other part of the train come in and talk/cry and snore. :( we had the two room mail car that apparently had another room on the other end. The staff was great at the resturant were very nice but they needed more than one waitress. We had a fairly long wait. Good thing we had family to talk to that we had not seen in awhile. "Good AC/HEAT, decent space for five to six people, nice for your $, if there was one downside it would be that there were a few stains on the futon. They supplied dishes, plates, cutlery, etc. Overall a good stay, and we’d bring a sheet to put over the futon to sleep on it. "

"The owners are very nice and try to please but has gone down a lot since I was there 3 years ago. Rooms have basically what you need and is centrally located but the wooden tables outside are splintered and not really where you’d want to sit. There is a small microwave in the room and a refrigerator which comes in handy. A small round table and 2 chairs. A desk chair that was shedding its vinyl. Rooms are clean but could use a painting. "Rented this hotel for the last stay of our trip because it had a pool. We'll when we got there unfortunately someone got sick in the pool and the shut the pool down because it had to be cleaned and wait for the a sample to be taken. So I had to deal with a very unhappy fella after being outside all day in the heat watching the nascar race at Dover. I know has nothing to do with the staff but I feel I was defeated after a long day and wanted to cool off myself."
