"We very much enjoyed our brief getaway to Maple Lake, thanks in large part to this charming cottage. Historic high temperatures allowed us to enjoy ample hiking at nearby Lake Maria State Park as well as atop Mink Lake itself. We relaxed on the deck, dined on scallops, and made a campfire under the stars. In the morning, we were greeted by a pair of trumpeter swans on the lake. They sunbathed for several hours. It was a great way to start our Sunday! Thanks for a memorable stay!"

"Joanne was very attentive and accommodating. The house is decorated nicely and is very comfortable for a larger family or multi-family with a suite downstairs of a sitting room with TV, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Beds varied from firm to very firm but all comfortable. I would highly recommend Olive and Oak."

"Impressive house in secluded location, and beautiful on the inside as well, with enough bedrooms to accommodated our group of 16. Plenty of seating for everyone as well. The main kitchen/entertaining areas were on two floors with quite a few stairs separating them, if that's an issue.The 2 kitchens caused some confusion in finding items we were looking for, but we made due. Lost the internet one evening, but by morning it was back. The only other problems we encountered were not enough trash...
