"This was an extremely stressful & horrifying stay. Communication was poor from the beginning. I booked a month in advance but never received check-in instructions. Messages through VRBO went unanswered, & I ultimately had to contact VRBO to obtain a phone number. The door code was not sent until we were already on our way.House looks nice at first glance but has numerous serious issues.The hall bathroom has black mold on the ceiling, & the vent drips into the bathroom. "This was a good place to stay for a reasonable price. It was small, but we weren’t planning to be there except at night, and the clean, cool room with comfy beds was what we needed. The drive into Charleston was long with the traffic, but we put up with that since we went into the city in the morning and stayed there all day, and lodging in the city was pricey. Our room and bathroom was a quiet and private part of a house that no one else used but us."

"Great place and would stay here again. Convenient to pretty much everywhere. Only concern was that the phone number for the host was just a service to leave a message and never received a response. We did figure out the answer on our own so not a negative concern necessarily. Just an observation. Townhome was clean updated and modern and neighborhood was surprisingly quiet to be located on an area with many townhomes in it. Thank you for a great birthday getaway spot!"
