"Wonderful stay! Host was VERY communicative and attentive! The home was very clean and nice, and stocked very well for visitors! There was plenty of space and activities for our family/friend group of 11 and 2 dogs! The only thing we think could improve would be a coat of paint, and fixing the fence gaps, considering it was a pet friendly option. Overall better than expected and perfect for what we needed! Highly suggest! "

"Had a family wedding to attend in Minneapolis and needed a space with 8 bedrooms-not an easy feat. This lake home was perfect. From the ease in booking to the prompt reply to my questions, the host could not have been more helpful. And the property is beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. "We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out...

"Do not recommend if you are staying multiple days. We did not get the room we reserved because they gave it to someone else. We were only given 3 towels for 4 people for 4 days. When we asked for more towels they gave us 2 more and that is all we could get, then went and complained they said we could only get more towels if we brought them down all the dirty towels. Once i did this. We again only got 2 more towels again for 4 people. Could not get anyone to clean the roomWould not even give us...

"Loved everything about the location of this place. We loved being outside playing yard games, using the canoe, or relaxing in the hot tub. My favorite part was sitting around the fire roasting marshmallows (which were provided by Steve) to make s’mores. This house had plenty of room for everyone. Loved the wide variety of family games inside as well. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I also had contacted Steve about a few questions and he responded quickly. "Family members in town for a funeral were very comfortable at this large, spotlessly clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Nearby restaurants and stores provided plenty of options for meals. The check in code did not work for the first guest who arrived, but a phone call to the host quickly resolved that small issue. We appreciate the clear directions and prompt communications all along. "
