"The house was very clean, well taken care of, and stocked with everything we needed. (In the main house there were a few more stairs than we were aware of, and a few very narrow and steep staircases which made it a bit more difficult for one of our family members who recently had broken a few ribs to get around, but not a deal breaker by any means) The pool was excellent (but could use a little shade - we were all vying for space under the one umbrella)Overall we had an excellent stay. "This house was a good landing place for our large family gathering. We liked the well-appointed kitchen and comfortable gathering area in the living room. We loved having meals out on the deck, hanging out in the hot tub, shooting hoops in the basketball hoop, and using the fire pit. The listing isn’t clear about the beds that are in each room. The downstairs master has one queen bed in it. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms- one room has one queen bed, one room has a trundle bed (twin mattresses) as...

"The property was nicely renovated and well stocked and as described in the listing. The AC was especially nice as we happened to be in town on one of the hottest weeks of the summer! We appreciated the central location as well. Overall a very good property, I would stay here again if we are in the area. "

"Six friends and I rented Joan's lovely pace for a personal reunion, and our 50th high school reunion for a week in June. The VRBO pictures and descriptions did not do the place justice! So many comfy places to gather inside and out, and the added attraction of being right on the Delaware River made our 4-night stay extra special. The house was spotlessly clean; the kitchen well-appointed, and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. Joan is the consummate hostess who was available from the moment...

"My family stayed here for a wedding in newtown. What a lovely apartment! It was a rainy cooler june weekend so we didnt get to enjoy the outdoor space as much but parts of the patio/deck was covered which was great. The pingpong table and some porch areas needed a sweep but otherwise it was delightful, clean, cozy. We’d stay here again. "

"Wonderful quiet space for visiting the New Hope area. Nicely stocked coffee/tea bar in kitchen including some snacks. Very clean and comfortable. The area had a storm while we were there and lost power but this place has a generator that kicked on and we continued to have power. "

"Very nice house to use as a base for a Doylestown wedding. Nothing fancy, but we weren't there that much. Very clean, comfortable and quiet with a nice kitchen. Great AC! The one problem was the entrance--It was very hard to find even when we knew it was hidden. Also it was hard to get out on the very busy road--visibility from the driveway to the road was obscured even for a right turn."

"Beautiful home in a beautiful setting! Lots of space for our family reunion of 15 people. We especially loved the pool! Very responsive host who provided local recommendations for restaurants and activities."
