Renovated Victorian in 'Americas Coolest Small Town'

A stay at this home in Hammondsport combines all the events and restaurants of a small town with all the fun activities of Keuka Lake. Walk a few blocks to enjoy amazing shops and restaurants in a small town square. During the Spring and Summer there is live music in the park and monthly events. Home is a short 4 block walk from the head of lake where you can swim and fish. Utilize the provided Kayaks to spend time on the lake. You can relax by the firepit or hangout drinking your coffee on the front porch. Enjoy the Infrared sauna in the evenings. Short trips to Watkins Glen, Letchworth State Park and several of the other Finger Lakes. Enjoy countless wineries and craft breweries while you're in the area

What a great property! Accurately advertised. The home was very clean and comfortable, good amenities and a well-stocked kitchen. It was walking distance to Lake Keuka and the Hammondsport square. The owner answered questions in a timely manner and provided detailed instructions in a welcoming manner. I highly recommend this property and I am already planning on renting it again next next year!

Friends made a trip to Hammondsport and fell in love with the "small town"! The kitchen was very clean and well organized. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms clean and well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo. We felt completely safe in neighborhood.

Our group of college friends celebrated 56 years of friendship in September and rented this house. It was perfect for us! There are so many good reasons to rent this house....4 bedrooms with very comfortable beds (3 queen beds and 1 twin bed); great showers in the 2 bathrooms; plenty of bath towels, kitchen towels, and paper supplies; 2 living room areas to relax and watch TV; a large eat-in kitchen that's well equipped, including a wide variety of spices for cooking; a gas grill; washer and dryer; and a front & back porch with comfortable chairs for relaxing. Check-in and check- out were very easy, and our host Craig always responded promptly when we had questions. There's plenty of room to park cars in the driveway. Hammondsport is a charming town, and the house is an easy walk to the center of town. This is also close to wineries, if doing wine tours and tasting is on your agenda. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for this trip, and I'd highly recommend staying here when you're in the Finger Lakes region.

This house was absolutely perfect as the gathering spot for our group celebration. Close to the water and downtown area as well as spacious, clean and well equipped with anything you might need. It was unseasonably hot so we spent quite a bit of time outside on the private patio area. The host was very responsive to our questions. We would choose this house again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful Victorian home

We had a great stay this past long weekend. Craig was very quick to respond with any questions. The house was nicely decorated and clean. Beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was within walking distance, with the exception of the wineries! We would definitely recommend and would stay again ourselves!

Off Season in Hammondsport

If you've never been, make time to visit this adorable finger lakes town. From Craig's property you can walk to town and the lake front in about 5- 10 minutes. The local shops and restaurants are all wonderful. The property truly feels like a home. My husband and dogs were able to relax and enjoy our time together. The kitchen is well stocked to be able to cook and enjoy a meal. We ended up extending our stay and Craig had more supplies dropped off. Having both a regular coffee pot and a keurig was nice!

Fantastic Fall Foliage & Winery Weekend

The house is perfectly located for a three-day weekend in the Finger Lakes. We especially love how close it is to our three favorite wineries, Dr. Frank, Weis, and Domaine Leseurre - all on Keuka Lake. Walking a few blocks to the heart of Hammonsport for dinner is so convenient. This visit (our second staying at this house) we discovered the Park Inn restaurant . It was was so delicious we went twice.

Wine and beer weekend

Your home was so welcoming and comfortable. We did a fair amount of sitting on the porch and enjoyed it very much. Everything we could have needed was right there and we had a great visit.

Perfect Finger Lakes Location

We really enjoyed our weekend in this cozy home. It had lots of space and was well equipped. The yard was great for barbecuing and having a drink by the fire pit. Of course the cute downtown of Hammondsport is only a short walk away. We found our new favorite breakfast Vern’s so yummy. The wineries, breweries and distilleries are near by too. We did some hikes in the area. The main reason we were here was it’s great location compared to the race track. The weekend worked out perfect. We will be back!

Great stay

We my sister and two of my brothers had a great time going on hiking trails, wine tasting. This house was clean and in a great central point to get to everything. The owner of always got back to us if we had any questions. I would differently stay here again if needed

Charming Small-Town Retreat

Our stay at this beautifully renovated Victorian house was truly delightful. Visiting the area for the first time, we were impressed by how clean and cozy the house was. The walk to town was perfect, and we found the town itself to be utterly charming. One evening, we enjoyed delicious ice cream at Crooked Lake, and we returned the next morning for a delicious breakfast. The provided kayaks allowed us to explore the lake, and we made great use of the grill each night for dinner. Our adventures took us to the Corning Museum of Glass and on a stunning hike at Watkins Glen. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we are grateful for such a wonderful stay!

Everything was lovely

Had a wonderful long weekend! Home was super clean & with all the needed amenities & more. Nice back yard area for visiting & enjoying a glass of wine & grilled dinners. Easy walking distance to little Hammondsport town. Home is dog friendly plus neighborhood provides pleasant dog walking area with sidewalks & well kept Victorian homes & gardens. Craig was very helpful & responsive to questions. This was much more than a rental property. It was clearly a family home. Keep in mind, stairway to second floor with bedrooms is steep which was not a problem for us but if you are elderly with mobility concerns, keep that in mind. Location to many good wineries was also a big plus. About 30 minutes to Hermann Weimer, 10 minutes to Weis, and ~10 to Dr. Frank. Definitely would stay here again.
