Es gibt viele Gemeinschaftsduschen und Toiletten. Die Duschen auf meinem Flur gingen gar nicht (kaltes Wasser, Duschstange fiel mir entgegen, bei der zweiten Dusche, Duschkopf defekt Fliesen wurden mit Reinigunsmittel eingesprüht, aber nicht abgespült). Im Zimmer schien die Heizung nicht zu funktionieren, hier stand ein Heizlüfter, der den Raum schnell aufheizte. Es ist recht hellhörig dort, aber nachts ruhig. Ein kleiner funktionierender Fernseher war vorhanden. Schänke und Regale sucht man aber vergebens. Der Mann an der Rezeption war sehr nett, kam auch gleich nach oben um sich davon zu überzeugen...zeigte mir dann andere Duschen. Das Frühstück war einfach aber okay.

Tote Mücken and die Wände, Zimmer zu warm, Rauchmeldgerät ganz Nacht "beep beep". Gemeinschaftsbad nicht sauber und ohne Schloss, peinlich kleines Frühstück. Unklares Parkplatzort (am Ende, auf der Strasse)...absolut NO-GO für 45euros/Nacht.

not worth visiting!

If you have financial resourses, pick some better place. I myself picked by price and was very very dissappointed, as it was probably the worst place I have stayed ever. The only plus is free parking on the area and it is not so far from the city by car and without tarffic jams. But the room was...just a room with a bed and ancient non-working TV. Shared bathroom was mentioned, so it was just my choice. The management had not heard about the word "soundproof", so the place was very noizy all night even if I stayed in "quiet" part of the hotel. Really cannot imagine, who could be the target group for this place. very dissappointed!

Var hemskt. dåliga sängar, dåliga kuddar, inget lyse på toaletten och ingen handtvål. inget lås på badrummet/toan. gammalt ställe. bokar aldrig mer en natt här.

Nur wenn man wirklich was braucht.....

Sehr enttäuschend für den Preis. Wir haben die zwei Nächte überlebt aber schön ist anders. Alles sehr hellhörig und alt. Sauberkeit auch nur mangelhaft verallem im Bad. Durch das Gemeinschaftsbad im Haus riecht es im Treppenhaus sehr nach Urin. Für maximal 2 Nächte zu empfehlen, wenn nichts anderes mehr möglich ist in Hamburg.

Altes Hotel im Industriegebiet. Knarrende Dielen, laut, einfach in die Jahre gekommen. Personal teilweise freundlich und bemüht. Betten durchgelegen, daher schon fast wieder bequem. Frühstück einfach aber o.k.

Eingang trotz Gewerbegebiet kaum zu erkennen,Parkmöglichkeiten,sofern die Straße es zu lässt.Optisch abschreckend so wie die gesamte lage umzu. Auch nur für eine Nacht nicht zu empfehlen.Lange Wartezeit an der Reception, trotz kaum Kundschaft. Bis auf für die Schlüsselausgabe, hat man keinen Kontakt zu den Mitarbeitern bzw Service Personal. Zimmer werden nur Oberflächlich gereinigt. Doppeltbett Zimmer gebucht, und ein Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten erhalten. Elektronikgeräte ( TV) funktioniert nur mangelhaft. Zimmer sehr hellhörig.

Trucker hotel in an industrial area

It's a reasonable cheap hotel, but it's location is bad. It's in the middle of nowhere, but there's a train station 15 mins walk away.

schlechte Verkehrsanbindung

Hab zwar gut geschlafen und ohne Verkehrslärm (ist ja das Wichtigste) aber Shampoo und Seife muß man sich wohl von zuhause selber mitbringen oder dazukaufen, echt peinlich. Und eine Rechnung wollte man mir auch nicht ausstellen, nur eine Quittung. Schon sehr seltsam, absolutes NOGO!! Wer gut zu Fuß ist und morgens bzw. nachts, vor und nach dem Schlafen also, einen strammen Spaziergang an der frischen Meeresbriese im Hafen- und Industrieviertel schätzt, dem braucht die schlechte Verkehrsanbindung nichts anzuhaben (Bus von 8:00 - 22:00).

Basic but clean...huge distance from centre

Hotel is clean but basic. Long way from centre & nearest S-Bahn stop. 35 Euro taxi ride from airport, 20 Euros to central train station. Strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building. Conflicting information received when booking concerning as to whether the bathroom is private or shared. It is a shared bathroom you will use. Not the place to choose for a romantic trip with the one you love!!

Alles war nicht sowie meine Vorstellungen. Die Klo's/Badezimmern waren nicht im Zimmer, das Wasser war Kalt und die Handtücher war schmutzig und fleckig. Die Zimmern waren Kalt, als ob man irgendwo draußen übernachtet hätte. Nicht das Selbe wie auf den Bildern. Im Parkplatz wurde mein Reifen mit Messer geschnitten. Da wäre es doch eindeutig besser auf der Straße zu übernachten. Für das Preis ist das Hotel nicht wert.

Central budget hotel, but bring a car.

First impression of the hotel was that it really did look like a truck stop, especially with its location in an industrial estate, however inside it was actually fairly pleasant with a restaurant and bar either side of the 24 hour reception. The receptionists were very nice, spoke English very well. The hotel rooms are upstairs and fairly large, have a serviceable bathroom with shower and WiFi that's just about fast enough to watch films on. The area is actually very quiet, probably one of the perks of being on an industrial estate, however, despite being very close to the centre of Hamburg, nothing is very accessible without a car unless you're willing to walk 10-15 minutes for a bus. If you do bring your car there is a car park for it a minutes walk down the road and parking in the centre of Hamburg actually wasn't horrific, we even managed to find a free parking space on a Saturday! All in all, its a budget hotel without many frills, but you get a private bathroom, parking and it's close to the city centre which is all you really need for a weekend stay.

zu teuer für so wenig schlaf

egal, was auf dem gang passiert, es fühlt sich an, als passierte es im zimmer. da das zimmer keineswegs lärmisoliert ist, hört man das ständige kommen und gehen der gäste die ganze nacht hindurch in voller lautstärke. wir haben kein auge zugemacht, es war schrecklich. das bett ist mit so schlechten matratzen ausgestattet, dass man einfach durchsinkt und auch dadurch keineswegs zum schlafen verführt wird. für so viel geld erwarte ich zumindest schlaf, was der sinn eines hotels ist. verstehe nicht, warum dieses hotel überhaupt noch im expedia-programm enthalten ist.

Traditional Truck Stop Motel

Moorfleet is more like a truck stop motel than a hotel. The design is very dated, the place is not quite as clean as one would hope, and has certainly seen better days. That said, they offer value for money, the food is simple but good and it's easy enough to find with plenty of free parking. Just don't expect Moorfleet to be near any tourist attractions or public transport.

2,4 Km von der U-Bahn entfernt. Nahegelegener Bus verkehrt nur bis zum späten Abend. Sehr laut, da ständiger LKW Verkehr. Kleine spartanisch eingerichtete Zimmer. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis enttäuschend. Aufenthalt maximal 1 Nacht, wenn es sein muß.
