"My son and his wife and I stayed at this beautiful home. It was amazing. We loved every moment. We felt like doing a film or we were so inspired by the environment. It is so interesting and so beautiful and they chose the room with the pink curtains because it was like pink light was coming in. It was awesome and I slept so well and they slept so well. And Wendy. the woman that managed the property was probably the most wonderful person I have ever spoken to on the phone. She accommodated us...

"The cabin was very comfortable and well-furnished. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The air conditioner worked particularly well. The location was just what we were looking for—on the banks of a slough that connected to Big Cypress Bayou. We were able to put in right by the cabin, but we weren’t bothered by the boat traffic out on the bayou. "

"Charming house in great neighborhood in walking distance to town, shops & food. Host Lori (& hubby) have done a great job creating a cozy, comfortable home for guests. The way they documented the history & transformation of the Church House was really remarkable. We loved the history of the area! And all of the neighbors/business owners/workers were so friendly & helpful. We will be back as we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted to do."

"Had a lovely time at Sanders Lodge. Plenty of space inside and out to spread out, the lake is much more beautiful in person than the pictures give it credit. I wish that we could’ve stayed longer. "

"This was our second stay at this wonderful home. Located just minutes from everything in Longview, but quiet enough to sit inside or on the back porch and just talk. Having use of the garage was a real bonus because it kept our vehicles out of the sun.We would definitely stay here again. "

"6 of us Stayed on this great lake house. We were in the area putting up deer stands and feeders. Was great to come back after a hard days work to the A Frame! The place had great beds, and everything was well outfitted. "

"Absolutely wonderful location close to the lake a charming little “cabin“ very quiet an excellent place to relax we really enjoyed our 10th anniversary fishing, sleeping and eating in this quiet little place. "Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "

"Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. "Excellent house on the river, extremely clean and every convenience that you would need. The family had a great time and we also caught some fish. Would highly recommend staying at this location. Communication was excellent."

"Very nice place to stay. The views from the decks and the large windows in the kitchen and living room were great over looking the lake. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of room for four adult friends to have there own bed. There is a loft with a bed but didn't use it. Old guys don't like steep ladders. Overall great place to stay."
