"This property is exactly as listed. Quiet, remote, and beautifully charming. The vintage boutique adds to the romanic atmosphere. And close enough to the CLT area to easily make it a day trip. I highly recommend pairing this stay with a visit to Baker Buffalo Creek Winery."

"Wonderful place to stay. Everything was exactly like the description and the owner was very accommodating when we asked to leave a little later on our last day. We could easily walk to nearby shops and food places. Adding an additional standing fan might be a good idea since the smaller bedrooms do not have ceiling fans; otherwise everything was great. "

"Just as pictured! The cottage style house was perfect. The backyard was an oasis! It was kept up beautifully. And the host was awesome with communication. The only negative about this stay was that the deposit was super high (3000) and that we didn’t get it back until exactly 14 days after the check out date. "

"Mid Century cottage delivered classy, convenient and simple energy. Sweet house next to a visiting Peahen and tribe of goats. Enjoyed being near the creatures each day. Area is wonderful for morning outings, midday naps and return trail blazing in late afternoon. Brian was excellent in his suggestions of places to see. Veronet vineyards visit was amazing and pet friendly! We felt very safe and encountered no problems even though a small section of S Cherokee St has a different socioeconomic...

"We had a relaxing time when there. My sisters and spouses came down for a family reunion weekend. We were gone to family events but while resting for the next adventure, this Vrbo rental was the perfect place. No fuss, no loud neighbors. Within 15-30 minutes to all of our family reunion venues. "

"Birdsong is an adorable cottage & perfect place for me to stay while in town for several weeks. We were lucky that the flowers on the property were blooming so it was extra pretty! The cottage is close to uptown and 74, and is the perfect size for two people! Marywinn was wonderful and easy to deal with, quick to communicate and I highly recommend her property if you're staying in Shelby! "

"Property was just as advertised. Nice quiet setting off the beaten path, yet convenient(5 min.) to I-85. We were able to enjoy activities in the hustle and bustle of Gastonia and Greater Charlotte area( PNC Pavilion) with ease, yet return to the serenity and peace of the property for rest. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. Host were very responsive and provided much appreciated hospitality."

"Perfect central location in the town and area. I ventured to nearby attractions of Kings Mtn/Crowder Mtn parks and Cowpens battlefield park with ease. Neat little cottage - I was a single, so plenty of room for me. And, a "Pac-man" video arcade machine to boot - fun times. I plan on returning to the area in the Fall and would certainly stay here again, if available."
