"Parking was free via a ticket from the motel. The carpark was gravel which made moving the heavy cases difficult. Our room was at the very end of the ground floor so it was a fair hike to get there, this could have been problematic if there had been any mobility issues The room itself although starting to show its age was good Staff were excellent and it was novel to have a bowling alley as part of the complex. A great hotel across the road for meals."

"I have been to many accomodations establishments and La Quinta would have to be at the top of the list for value for the amenities on offer. Very clean, all the cooking facilities, dishwasher, 7kg washing machine, clothes dryer, large screen television and a proper two door refrigerator. "The room we stayed in was on level 2 street facing. We had a terrible night with constant noise from the next door occupants. The rooms at the hotel are clearly not noise proof. Whilst no one expects complete sound proof. At least it should control the loud noises. We were also disturbed early morning with a huge touristy bus trying to park on the street on side of our room. The driver’s ongoing yelling woke us up well before we intended. Won’t be staying at this hotel again."
