"Lovely place to stay, right near the centre of Arrowtown. Very well maintained and beautifully clean. The one small thing with my room was a light from behind shone directly through the bathroom window and onto the bed. This was solved by closing the bathroom door, however I don’t like sleeping with doors closed. Would highly recommend Shades of Arrowtown"

"Excellent accommodation option in Queenstown. Many options to chose from depending on the number of people and choice. We rented the standard Mountain View studio which can easily accommodate 4 people. It is very clean and fully contained with your own kitchen and bathroom. Towels and linens are clean too. Own parking is just outside the door. Many sports and leisure actvities for kids. Just 5 minutes to Arrowtown village and 20 minutes to and from the airport and Queenstown city centre. Staff...

"I’m very disappointed I stayed at this hotel. The location and facilities are decent but the rooms are small. What’s most disappointing is the service of the hotel staff. Instead of going out of their way to please the guests, they are very indifferent. I would never stay at a holiday inn again."

"Parking was free via a ticket from the motel. The carpark was gravel which made moving the heavy cases difficult. Our room was at the very end of the ground floor so it was a fair hike to get there, this could have been problematic if there had been any mobility issues The room itself although starting to show its age was good Staff were excellent and it was novel to have a bowling alley as part of the complex. A great hotel across the road for meals."
