"The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance. "

"This is a smaller hotel with a homely, personal feel that felt unique compared to larger, more commercial feeling hotel / spa combos that are becoming so common now. We felt very comfortable playing games and having drinks in the evening, enjoying the unique heated outdoor pool and generally relaxing. Our room was large with a huge, comfy bed with crispy clean linen and a lovely hot bath with bubbles. Our evening meal was exceptionally tasty and well presented - the baked Sole was the best...

"Everything!! A great welcome on arrival- our room was upgraded...no idea of reason- but very grateful. Cleanliness excellent- bed linens & towels excellent quality. Breakfast really enjoyable- with a great choice of options. Service was top notch with nothing too much trouble. All staff very friendly and helpful. "A very warm friendly welcome from Jenny on reception! A really lovely spacious family room, we couldnt fault it at all (they have thought of everything!) It had a huge bed with the most comfy pillows, tea and coffee, complimentary water and biscuits, and plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Lovely clean bathroom with the best fluffy towels! Jenny even went out of her way to find us a small fridge for our babies milk, and the travel cot was already set up with clean linen. The grounds were...

"Lovely boutique hotel, a five minute walk from the centre of Bath. Beautiful building with character and style, rooms are very pretty, spotlessly clean and the staff cannot do enough to help. Very quiet too, it’s rare not to hear any noise from other rooms or the street, but i didn’t. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the charm of Bath. "
