"We really liked the location and the cabin was really nice. The website made it look like the property was next to the lake but there was a road in between. The other small issue is that it distinctly stated there was a coffee pot in the room but we didn’t find one. The store was very nice and pretty well stocked and it was a pleasure talking with people who ran the place."

"I LOVED this experience! We were only there for the night (and a brisk one at that). We were introduced to our camp site by Fiona and she was lovely. Our campsite was so cool. Just like the pictures! We had dinner at the on-site restaurant which was delish. We didn't realize that we had to maintain the camp stove all night, but again, it was worth all the experience! Bathrooms were also well maintained, even though the mirrors in the bathrooms were NOT designed for short people XD To those looking to book, please note this place is completely off grid. "This is an older, yet, nicely maintained hotel located within minutes of the West Entrance of Yellowstone. It is in walking distance of everything. Rooms are smaller due to era built. One note for those traveling with dogs, the hallways are narrow and become especially noticeable when trying to pass by large work carts and housekeeping staff with a leashed dog. It’s a bit more to ask of a stressed dog. A conversation about this with the staff was well received."

"From the outside the hotel looked slightly dated but the inside was a pleasant surprise. The room was updated and very nice and it was clean. This hotel is a great location to walk to downtown shops and restaurants and is very near the entrance to Yellowstone. The breakfast area seating was full, good food selection. I would definitely stay here again."
