"Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

"We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate...

"Fantastic stay! The dome was a great way to go glamping while still being in nature. The hot plate and grill were very nice to cook and the shower had really fast hot water!"

"Great little place that is stocked with essentials, and more. The road up to the place is pretty squiggly, so keep that in mind if you get car sick! I had to be the driver in the area to avoid it. Because of the roads, it took a little longer for us to go to dinner on our first night and to get to the parks, so keep that in mind.We brought a lot of our own breakfast food, but did notice there is some easy food stuff like pancake mix in the cabinets, possibly from past guests, which is nice. "Overall the property was very clean and the hosts were great and very accommodating. Kitchenware was very dated and many items could not be used due to poor quality. Drive to Sequoia was at least 1.5 hours."

"Place was very nice and clean , the check in was a bit hassle since they send wrong code for the lock and since the connection is very bad for cell phones we had to drive several miles to get connected to host and get a new code."

"Finding lodging outside of the parks is very difficult. This isolated cabin was a good choice for us. It had all of the equipment and supplies we needed. It is an older home and a little on the worn side. The manager is very personable and accommodating. Bring your own food. There are no stores close by and the only restaurant is unreliable. Half of the items on the menu were not available."

"greeted by host and his horse. He provided interesting things to do in the area besides the National parks we were planning on visiting . we were not use to being in a little trailer house, so shower and sleeping was a bit of a challenge for us. We loved the stay."

"The caretaker Sandie was amazing! The property is a bit dated but we'll kept. But you're staying here because it's so close to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. Do not go to the Pinehurst Lodge for dinner... Expensive and not good food. Head over to Gena's Sierra Inn for a good meal."

"The communication and hospitality from the host was impeccable! The neighbors were friendly and helpful and we had access to so much that made the stay enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to add curtains to the front windows (there were field trip kids that passed by a few times a day and waved in - which was delightful! once I realized that I should probably put on a robe :/) We will definitely stay again - thank you!! "
