"What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!"

"Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! "My stay was wonderful. It was so dark at night and so quiet. I saw the Northern Lights and a shooting star while sitting on the deck. The cabin was very clean, neat and cozy. The bathroom was clean and I was happy to find out that it had lights. It was close to town but felt like it was miles away. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"It's a really cool spot back in the woods but close to a lot of parks and Grand Marais. The roads are gravel, but pretty well graded. It has good power and lots of cozy additions like throw blankets, nice chairs, a great fire pit, and a really cool upper deck to have breakfast on. We didn't use the grill, but there is one there.The sauna is pretty nice. It's close to the house, but far enough away that you have privacy while sharing it with the other cabin. "I took my girlfriend there for weekend retreat exploring the nearby waterfalls and border. All within a short drive. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and peaceful. Gorgeous night skies. The only negative i can think of was the driveway. Extremely steep. Must have all wheel drive or 4x4. But, to be fair it does mention that in the description. "
