Casa Vida Verde - Luxury cottage by water & nature

Casa Vida Verde is a stylish and completely renovated vacation home at the 't Hooge Holt vacation park. The 65-square-meter cottage accommodates six people and has three bedrooms, one of which is on the first floor. It’s perfect for families who want to enjoy luxury and nature. The cozy cottage is beautifully situated next to a fishing pond, creating an idyllic setting for relaxing moments by the water. There is also a separate bike shed with electrical outlets, ideal for e-bikes and extra storage space.

The Space
Inside, you’ll find a cozy living room with a lovely wood-burning stove, which creates a warm, cozy atmosphere—ideal for colder evenings. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and offers all the conveniences you need for delicious cooking. The bathroom is equipped with both a separate bathtub and a shower, providing extra comfort during your stay.

Casa Vida Verde is very child-friendly. A crib with a separate mattress is provided, as well as a Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair and many other essentials. In addition, during peak season or upon request, the patio can be enclosed with a fence so that children can play safely outside. The sunny patio offers a beautiful view of the fish pond and is perfect for long evenings outdoors. The patio is equipped with a lounge set, a dining table for six people, a barbecue, and a parasol. For cyclists, a separate shed is available where bicycles can be safely stored and charged.

The vacation park offers numerous facilities, such as a covered heated pool and an outdoor pool, an indoor playground, a petting zoo, mini-golf, a bowling alley, an arcade, sports fields, and outdoor playgrounds.

The surrounding nature of the Vechtdal and Reestdal is perfect for biking and hiking trips. Attractions such as Slagharen Amusement Park, Plopsa Indoor, and Wildlands Adventure Zoo are also nearby.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the entire house, including a detached shed that can be used for bike storage or extra storage.

Other things to keep in mind
't Hooge Holt Vacation Park has two swimming pools where the whole family can enjoy themselves. There is a heated indoor pool that is open year-round and a standard outdoor pool that is only open during the warmer months.

The pool was closed for renovations to comply with new regulations and has since reopened. Old-fashioned chlorine fumes, like the ones we remember from the past, are no longer allowed. Thanks to the open top of the walls, the pool now has the feel of a covered outdoor pool. The water is cool but comfortable; extra towels or a bathrobe are recommended.

It’s also good to know that there’s a soccer club next to the park where tournaments are occasionally held. This may cause some noise disturbance.
