Welcome to Dancing Bear Lodge. A home designed to let you experience all the great powder Kicking Horse Mountain Resort has to offer. Ski right to the front door leading to the an area designed for your ski gear with ski racks, boot/glove dryers, benches to take off equipment and hangers for your ski clothes.

Dancing Bear Lodge is a brand new modern townhome in the exclusive Cedars development at the base of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Four bedrooms including a master suite with king bed, closet and ensuite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms with queen beds, closets and shared bathroom. Fourth bedroom is a bunkroom with 4 large bunk beds and dedicated closet and half bathroom. All bedrooms include soft premium down comforters, Egyptian cotton sheets and premium pillows for a great, comfortable night sleep.

Sitting room has a large couch as well as large flatscreen TV with blu ray player, satellite DVR and soundbar. The mainfloor of the townhome has a large extended length one car garage with ski racks and boot dryer, entryway/mud room area perfect for taking off and storing ski clothes. The bunkroom and bathroom are on this level. The other three bedrooms are on the next level. The bedrooms containing king beds with premium linens and pillows, large closets. The ensuite bathroom have a vanity, full shower and heated floors.

The upper floor contains the modern kitchen with sit-up bar area, large refrigerator, high end stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, pantry and all the modern kitchen appliances for the discerning chef. Just off the kitchen is the large dining area with 8 person dining table. Next to the dining area is the large living room with sectional sofa, gas fireplace. Just off the living room is a sitting area with large flatscreen TV with blu ray player, satellite DVR and surround sound receiver. Off the upper floor is a huge deck going from one end of the upper floor to the other. It has an 8 person hot tub, large gourmet BBQ grill and beautiful views. There is a half bath just off the kitchen and pantry.

An amazing place for a big group looking for some quiet

Gabriel was super accommodating, allowing us to bring not just one but two of my dogs into the home! Along with an early check in :)The area was lovely to bring our dogs around to roam, meet other dogs staying nearby and for our pups to explore. For a family that lives in a busy city, this place was a great escape (not so much from mosquitos haha). there were many trails nearby, and a decent distance from town. Being beside the resort, we could go in the chairlift or go hiking. His instructions were clear throughout our whole stay, the house was clean and beautiful!! We found some stains on the couches and scratches on the walls in one of the bedrooms but that didn’t impact our stay. We would definitely come back again! Thank you!

We love the dancing bear lodge :)

The kitchen had everything you would ever need to make any meal. I wish we had known there was a high chair, pack and play crib and a baby gate … we would have packed a few less things - but now we know for next time :) we will definitely books here again ! Great communication with Gabriel- quick to reply !!Love the lay out of the house!

Golden Getaway!

Great property and amenities to host our group that was in town for the Golden Ultra (3-day trail running event)...The house was clean, spacious and quiet for those runners that had an early morning departure - The hot tub was great to relax all the sore bodies after a long wet day on the trail - and get ready for the next day of running. We'll be back!

Gabriel helped us out greatly in a pinch, and was so thankful and very surprised on how wonderful their place was. It was very clean, and was stocked with everything we needed. I would come stay back here again with my family. Wish we could stay longer!

Beautiful location and home

The home was clean and well stocked. It fit our family of 7 perfect. The location was great for getting to and from the hill and so many walking trails. The view from the hot tub was just incredible! We would love to book every year just a little pricey!

Place was beautiful & clean. The owner was very communicative and super helpful when we needed extended time for check out. We can up for a race, so it was not winter, and we found the dining & shopping options on the mountain to be limited - but this is understandable for the time of year. Only complaint is that the chalet doesn't have good soundproofing, so if upstairs in the evening, people below you trying to sleep can hear everything!! Other than that - perfect place :)

It was a great property to stay with family and kids. The house was clean and in great condition. The one thing I would suggest is that since the house doesn’t have AC, then you should have fans available for the summer months. It was really hot during our stay and it was difficult to sleep.

Oh Those Views!

We were a family of six adults and we all loved our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge. Very spacious and equipped with everything you’d need. The walk-in pantry offered handy food storage space and more appliance options. We really appreciated the boot warmer racks and heated bathroom floors - definitely welcome treats! Skiing out the hill only required a walk past 3-4 houses then we were able to ski the paths behind homes, cross one street and ski down to the gondola. Easy and fairly quick. Skiing the bail out path at the end of the day brought us almost to the front door! Lots of spaces to gather or to spread out. Enjoyed the hot tub at the end of each day and evening board games at the long table. The wall of windows offered the best views of the region’s mountain peaks. Gabriel was very helpful in communicating all we needed to know to help make our experience top-notch. Highly recommend!

Golden Getaway

We loved the house! It was very spacious and fully stocked with everything you didn’t even know you needed. However, there is room for improvement in regards to communication about this property. The listing title was deceiving as it says you can have a certain number of guests, but then when you go to sign the documents and secure everything, the number of guests allowed is lower. Overall, great house though!

Family trip to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort

Fantastic modern property with comfortable and stylish accommodation. The top floor is nice and spacious with lots of room for eating, cooking and socializing. For those that like to cook, the kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and appliances. Communication with the owner, Gabriel, was prompt and concise, resulting in a very simplistic check-in/check-out processs and an overall pleasant experience.

Great house, great location, great hosts

Don't let the photos fool you. This place is huge! It is also brand spanking new. You couldn't ask for a better house, well equiped with brand new furniture, high end appliances and fittings. The owner even goes as far as stocking the pantry with all the spices, essential to cook big meals in the open concept kitchen. The views. On a clear day you can see down the range for miles. Out the back, you have direct access to the ski hill. You can ski directly to front of the property. The hot tubs is great for long days on the hill, plenty of hot tub towels to dry off. Overall, the owner was very responsive and great to get along with. We will be back!
