"The view is stunning!! We kept rushing back home to sit outside and enjoy the view!! Michael was amazing w his communication and always responded immediately! The house was just as described. Plenty of room for 3 generations to meet and spend a weekend. Marion has places to eat and Asheville is an easy 40 min drive. I’d recommend driving an suv to get up and down the driveway. Lots of out door areas to sit and enjoy the view!! View from inside was amazing too! Just can’t say enough...

"Great little hideaway well situated between Little Switzerland and Spruce Pine, about an hour from Boone and Blowing Rock! Can walk right out to some wonderful hiking! Neat little cabin!"

"Beautiful house and view of the lake! House was clean, well stocked, and the owners are very responsive and friendly. The A/C did have trouble keeping up on a few hot days on the top floor, even with the drapes shut, to the point we asked if someone could look at the HVAC unit while we were there. The owners did send a technician out, and everything seemed to be working correctly. The owners did say they plan to make some additional modifications soon to address the sun light heating up...

"Another great year at the lake. Love the dock and the available slip for our boat. Plenty of room in the house. Great views. Our only issue is the kitchen. The cabinets and drawers are quite small and all the pots and pans are piled beneath the island. After a week, the stools around the island leave you wanting a regular chair to sit and eat. Relatively minor in the grand scheme of things and we try to maximize our time on the water while there. Thanks for having us. "

"We had a great stay at Mamaw's Cabin! The place was perfect for our party of 3 and our dog and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a great way to finish the day after spending hours hiking the amazing scenery of the area, in particular the trails around the Linville Gorge. Another BIG bonus was being just 2 minutes away from Linville Falls Winery. Cell phone signal is non-existent around the cabin so make sure to plan your routes ahead of time while connected to...

"We had a great time at the cabin. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to everything. Check in was a breeze and the kitchen had everything we needed to feel at home. We wouldn't hesitate to come back."
