"I’ve never stayed in a motel that didnt have air conditioning. It was stuffy inside my room when I arrived.i opened the windows and door and it was better. This older motel is beside a very busy road and the noise is bad. It quieted down after dark and the temperature dropped outside so I could close the door and windows. I couldn’t get the tv to work. I don’t think I would choose this motel again."

"We didn’t have hot water when needing to shower for the event that brought us to town. Staff was very kind but a cold shower was not enjoyable."

"We were greeted by our contact person, Gail, who is friendly and personable. And a terrific artist as you will see when you are on the property. This is a very cute, fun and artsy apartment. We used the bedroom at the front of the house and found it roomy and the bed is very comfortable. The water pressure is outstanding and the hot water arrives almost instantly. The kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring your own food. We will definitely book a room here when we are near Winchester Bay again."
