"Although this property does not have an onsite restaurant/ so no room service… I can honestly say this hotel has nicer accommodations than the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco!!! "Lovely location and sweet courtyard. Room was clean and comfortable though there was a leaking tub faucet. I was extremely disappointed with the level of noise that woke me up on vacation at 7:30am (or so)....lawn mowing or blowing, garbage pickup, etc. Is there no town noise ordinance near a luxury hotel?"

"We loved staying here and absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody looking to spend time in the Carmel/Monterey area. This hotel is a bit up the street from the main shopping area, which is nice if you want somewhere quiet. We liked that breakfast was included as a picnic basket delivered to the room each morning; much better than having to find breakfast in town each day! The woman who checked us in was particularly friendly and helpful - when we told her we would not need the basket...
