"Absolutely perfect stay at The Resident Edinburgh. A few highlights of trip: Staff went above and beyond, writing an anniversary card and greeting guests every time they enter. "Didn't eat there. Had good tea and coffee in room with a little bottle of milk in the fridge. Wonderful room, excellent shower, bath, toiletries towels and linens. Kelly at the front desk was lovely. I go back and forth from US to Scotland a couple of times a year and will definitely be back to the Balmoral."

"Super easy check in process. Love the keyless entry system. We stayed in Manor and loved the room. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, well thought out layout and storage! The toiletries smell wonderful. Just far enough away from the hustle but close enough to walk everywhere or easily catch a bus/tram. Sad we only had two nights. Highly recommend staying here!"

"The staff were very helpful and I loved having a refillable water glass with their filtered tap water. The refrigerator was great, as well as the bed. The exercise room had what I needed and having the laundry room right next door was perfect to check on my laundry while I was doing my workout. Overall great experience! "

"Given the price, I was surprised to first get a room on the lower ground with the windows giving under street level and under stairs. But they were thankfully able to move me to an upper level room in the morning, which I was really grateful as I was staying there almost a week. Apart from that hiccup, the rest of my stay was great and the room really comfortable."

"Great location and staff was very helpful. The only thing I’ll mention is our room was right by the stairs and it was very noisy early morning and late evening. Not a big deal for us as we were early risers. But if you want to sleep in occasionally, you might want to make them aware."
