★★★★☆ Excellent Service and Comfort — Minor Winter Drawback
My stay at IntercityHotel Frankfurt Airport was overall very positive and comfortable, especially for an airport hotel.
The staff were truly outstanding — welcoming, efficient, and genuinely kind. Check-in and check-out were smooth, questions were handled with patience, and there was a real sense of professionalism paired with warmth. After a long journey, that kind of human factor matters a lot, and they absolutely delivered.
The room itself was well equipped and thoughtfully arranged. I especially appreciated having tea and coffee in the room, which is always a small but important comfort, particularly when arriving late or leaving early. Everything was clean, functional, and well maintained, exactly what you want near an airport.
The only downside was that the room felt noticeably cold during my stay in January. While everything else worked perfectly, the temperature made it slightly less comfortable than expected.
That said, aside from the winter temperature issue, everything else was excellent — service, amenities, cleanliness, and overall efficiency. IntercityHotel Frankfurt Airport is a very solid choice, and with warmer room temperature control, it would easily be a five-star airport stay.
