The hotel is in a decent area and the property grounds are nice. The parking is terrible. I read that on reviews before I came so I wasn’t shocked. The valet has in and out privileges but we only used it the first night. The other nights we found street parking and only one night did we have to park extremely far. The keycard system to enter your room and use the elevator was the worse experience of the trip. The app constantly logged us out and we had to log back in using the confirmation number from our email. This occurred several times-extremely frustrating. The front desk was also not as helpful. Extra towels were not available for hours. We requested them at 10:30 am and when we returned from the beach at about 4:30 they still didn’t have the towels ready. Room is clean and comfortable. The shower is walk-in with marble and a rain shower. The rooftop pool was also really nice it just needed some TLC in the area where the chairs were located. Walking distance to Hollywood Blvd. A lot of the places there open later in the day though which was odd. I would probably stay closer to Las Olas Blvd next time which was about a 12-15 min drive. The beach was about an 8 minute drive.

I stayed at this hotel solo both before and after my cruise—first in a King Room, then a 1-Bdrm King Suite. The location is great, luggage storage was easy, and the property was decent. That said, I’m giving 3 stars for a few reasons: The Elevator: To access your floor, you have to enter a random 8-digit code every time. It’s meant for security, but it’s tedious—especially since the room already uses app-based entry. The codes weren’t easy to remember. Check-in Flexibility: Check-in is strictly at 4pm. I arrived early after my cruise dropped off my bags and returned around 3pm. I asked if my room was ready and was told flatly, “No, 4pm.” Out of curiosity, I went up to check (my elevator code didn't work; another guest helped out) —my room was clearly ready, just locked. I had to wait in the lobby a whole extra hour for no reason. Not being flexible—even by 15 minutes—felt unnecessarily rigid. Room Vibe: The rooms felt barren—just the bare essentials. The suite didn’t even have a TV in the living area, to my surprise. The kitchen in the suite felt a little dated, and there were only a few paper plates & plastic silverware in the cabinets. However, the bathrooms were quite nice. Pool Area: There had zero shade. I planned to relax at the pool after my cruise, but ended up skipping it because there was nowhere to escape the sun. Overall, it’s not a bad hotel, especially for the price, but I would've rather stayed at one of the other hotels nearby for a few more dollars.

What can I say about this hotel… Me and my husband recently stayed here and I must say the room was nice. But it would’ve been nicer. If I received the room that I booked. Imagine booking a king bedroom balcony, and when you finally get to check in at 4 PM finding out that you are staying in a double queen bedroom with no balcony. Let’s keep in mind that before I entered the room. I had interacted with front desk on three occasions And no one felt the need to tell me that my room had been downgraded. Apparently a high-level Marriott member had reached out and need a room. So a paying customer just like me had to Get their room downgraded Because I am not considered high level.. Apparently Sonder has took on the Marriott way because they have been bought out. There is nowhere online where you book that states that a high-level member can out book you. It’s basically a secret. I think it is the worst policy that company could go by. I’m A paying customer too. I also was told that if the room was a problem that they could refund me and I can book somewhere else. Imagine having to cancel a reservation at 5 PM just to find a new Hotel that could be potentially more and cost or overbooked as well. My husband and I just stayed a night as to not feeling that we should have to look at booking a new hotel at the last minute. We were only there for Half of a day pretty much. But I still feel that The whole situation was wrong. I feel that Sonder Should take accountability on their end

We chose this hotel for its convenient location and because it seemed comparable to others in the area. I’m not someone who typically leaves negative reviews, but I believe it’s important to share our experience so others can make an informed decision. The room itself is spacious and the view is lovely. The location truly is perfect. However, the issues began as soon as we arrived. Outside our room door, we found two white bath towels in a brown paper bag—no hand towels, no washcloths, just that. When we requested two additional towels, we were told none were available until the next day. We had to reuse a damp hand towel to dry off after showering. The floors felt sticky and looked visibly dirty. The bed was uncomfortable with noticeable lumps and uneven support. The air conditioning never got very cold, leaving the room feeling stuffy throughout the day. When we went to the pool, there were no towels available. After asking the front desk, we were told someone would bring them up to the pool area, but after waiting 45 minutes in the heat, we gave up and returned to our room. There’s no shaded seating in the pool area, which made it even harder to stay and enjoy. I’m truly disappointed. These were my first days off in a while, and unfortunately, I’m spending them uncomfortable and dissatisfied—with no option for a refund. Pros: Spacious room, great location, beautiful view Cons: Unclean conditions, poor customer service, overall lack of care

Do not stay here every negative comments is true about this place. I get there at 3:45 I check in but was told I had to wait until 4pm to go up 4pm come and room still wasn’t ready. The air wasn’t working in the room we had to ask for towels front desk wasn’t friendly at all had an attitude when we ask for towels. They have a 7 digit code you have to put in on the elevator and to your room that’s ridiculous. You have to pay 30 a night for valet parking that’s something they don’t tell you.

Checkin process is not customer friendly. You had to fill out a form online that looks like a baxkground check where you have to share your face. I denied it right on the spot. Upon on site, front desk had me to call atr because they couldn't figure some deposit payment required with Expedia and had me call Expedia as the only option, even myself willing to pay any deposit required because I wanted to check in as I traveled wirh a baby. Process is so complicated that I ended up canceling the entire reservation. I would not recommend this place at all.

1 • 4 days ago Marriott, DO BETTER! This stay was less than enjoyable for a number of reasons. First, the parking is HIGHLY INCONVENIENT , almost forcing the guest to use valet. Upon entering the room, there was only ONE washcloth and we had 2 guests. We were told that there weren’t any available and my 13 year old daughter had to wait until the next day to obtain one. The pool area was extremely dirty due to birds and pigeons. Bird poop was EVERYWHERE. Also, the digital room key access that HAD to be used for using elevator doors and room doors constantly logged out and required MULTIPLE attempts to log back in. I expected so much from the Marriott brand and customer service. Not to mention how rude and unprofessional the front desk agent was during the stay.

HOTEL WAS OK, IF YOU ARE JUST WANTING TO SLEEP THEN ITS GOOD. OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SPEND TIME THERE. THERE ARE NO PHONES IN THE BEDROOM AND IF YOU NEED ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER FOUND IN GOOGLE AND THEY REACH OUT TO THE HOTEL. IF ANYONE SMOKES IN ANOTHER ROOM YOU CAN SMELL IT THROUGH THE VENTS. THAT WAS ANOTHER INCONVIENIENCE WE HAD.

Unfortunately, my partner and I trusted the valet provided at the hotel to park our car due to no nearby parking. Next morning, our car was damaged with the bumper ripped off and scratches to the car. The hotel stay was amazing and our room was very clean. I would do more research on where you should park and not trust the valet.

They only clean if you stay 5+ days. I received an email asking to make a payment and when I went to the front desk, I heard them saying that it happened with another client. I had to cancelled all my credit cards, be aware. Aside from that, the hotel is clean, AC is always on.

Nothing to like. Horrible app that nothing seems to work on. AC down most of the day and in the 90's.Floors were actually black with dirt. Junkies passed out outside the building, etc. etc. Took numerous attempts and emails to get confirmation. Everything runs off of the computer which was down when we arrived. Aggressive and Valet service bringing the wrong car, etc. To many things to list A real live nightmare.
