We were here for only one night due to a train transfer to Rome airport but this was an excellent choice. There is an underground tunnel immediately outside the front door that leads to the train station. Breakfast opened at 7am which was perfect considering most other hotels we stayed at started later. This allowed us to grab a quick bite prior to departure.
The area outside can be quite congested due to the train station but it is less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and 20-25 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio.
At breakfast ( located at the 5th level), the spread was abundant and we were blown away by the views including the Duomo. There is an outstanding rooftop as well.
The room was large by European standards with a very high ceiling and wood coffered.
They had complimentary cold drinks and juices in the fridge.
All in all, we had stayed here 20 years ago and were very impressed with the updates and the makeover.
The staff were all very accommodating and pleasant. Would easily stay here again.
