"Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed."

"firstly communication was not clear because when I get the guesthouse the person who was assisting me told me that I'm supposed to be in Strand but the direction that I got was for Somerset. I was so confused but assisted me because there was a room that was free in that site. very thing is perfect very apartment is very nit and clean. "

"Basic accommodations, didnt look like the photos. Less of a hotel bit like staying in someone house. Mold around shower and ok room for a quick overnight stay. 20 min walk to restaurants though. Bed comfy. "

"Beat all of our expectations, and they were pretty high from reading the reviews! Accommodation is brilliant and has all amenities we could wish for. Great breakfast and we tried the lunch here last day, also superb. But the by far best thing was the staff. We were made to feel super-welcome and got great recommendations for dinners, winetasting and trekking. The location was excellent and made it easy to visit many vineyards, beaches, and shopping in the surrounding area. The views of the mountains, vineyards, and horses from our cottage were also a highlight. We look forward to visiting again! "
