"Beat all of our expectations, and they were pretty high from reading the reviews! Accommodation is brilliant and has all amenities we could wish for. Great breakfast and we tried the lunch here last day, also superb. But the by far best thing was the staff. We were made to feel super-welcome and got great recommendations for dinners, winetasting and trekking. "Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed."

"Coming from the US and having heard all kinds of stories about SA, I will say this property is very safe and secure, with (free) gated parking. I had a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and had a patio area and kitchen. It was enormous. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and eager to share all the great things Stellenbosch has to offer. Laundry service is a plus and so is the location—walkable to any number of great restaurants and cafes. Great value as well. Highly recommended."
